An Untouchable Cube

This work is based on Walter Benjamin’s concept of Dialectical Image. In this piece, the visitors can see through the toughened glass a green figure that looks like both a tilted hexagon and the outline of a cube in perspective. The visitors are gazing at a figure in a dialectical state.

The taboo of touch is also a theme I address in this piece. The core of this piece is placed in a separate, sealed space where the visitors can only see through a barrier.
