Beds (Together)

The work explores the subtle differences between similar things. The two sculptures leaning against the wall resemble the image of two beds: frames of two beds and their own pillows. At the same time, they also look like two people—two individuals waiting.

The colour of the light in this work comes from the colour of the twilight sky, with the left side slightly darker than the right. The light is cast onto two thin lines, which can only be noticed when viewed up close.

Between two similar things, there are always subtle differences. Between the two sculptures leaning against the wall, there is always a distance. It suggests a state of being together, a beautiful wish of being together.
